Welcome to American Family Camp!
American Family Camp (AFC) is a Christian camping ministry located in the hill country of Texas. AFC offers year round camp sessions to families who are committed to Christian family development.
AFC combines the fun of a camping adventure with in depth spiritual training to strengthen your family. Families with children of any age,including infants, who desire to be trained in family ministry, are invited to attend. Meals, private family cabins and everything else that you need are provided at the camp.
Any Christian family, regardless of affiliation, can attend. AFC is also open to families where several me
mbers of a particular church can come who are seeking to be trained for family ministry within their church.
Family camps include fun filled training where the entire family participates through skits, games, music, object lessons. Outdoor activities include swimming, bonfires, square dancing, hiking, horseback riding, horseshoes, volleyball, fishing, basketball, tennis and much more.

We wanted to improve the quality of our relationships in our family. With seven in our family, we hoped that Family Camp could give us the tools to help us with our daily challenges. The camp content is presented in a way that keeps the attention of small children, teenagers and adults so that we can learn and have a good time. We now look forward to spending family time, doing family projects and devotionals together. As parents we make what we learn at camp a high priority in our family life.
