We’ve been fortunate to have met some amazing families during our Family Camps. Here’s what they’ve had to say about their experience with American Family Camp…
We came to Family Camp to improve our family communication and to have more spiritual discipline as a family. Leaving town and going to a camp facility helps us to bond as a family unit. Attending with other families, shows us that we are not in this alone and that we can help each other to improve. Family Camp has brought our family closer together; our communication is better. We now eat dinner and have family discussion together 5 nights a week.”

As a single mother with two teenagers I wanted my children to understand the importance of praying together and encouraging one another. The group setting and participation with a variety of families has helped us see what God has done in our life. My children and I have fun learning about the importance of our relationship with God and this has brought us closer in our family. Family Camp has brought us priceless knowledge. It helps that this life changing information isn’t just coming from mom, but from other people that they admire and look up to outside of our home.”

We have enjoyed the lessons taught at camp. We spend time together as a family and talk about what we have learned. I have noticed a wonderful change in our family since attending Family Camp. We have learned the importance of our roles as family members and as a family unit as purposed by Christ. We have gained a greater appreciation for reading and sharing the Bible together. We have grown closer as a family and communicate on a more honest level. Family Camp has given us an opportunity to enjoy ourselves in a loving, stress free environment where we can share the scripture with family and friends and return home, better equipped to face the challenges of daily life.”

We wanted to improve the quality of our relationships in our family. With seven in our family, we hoped that Family Camp could give us the tools to help us with our daily challenges. The camp content is presented in a way that keeps the attention of small children, teenagers and adults so that we can learn and have a good time. We now look forward to spending family time, doing family projects and devotionals together. As parents we make what we learn at camp a high priority in our family life.”
